The Ohio Board of Nursing uses the Ohio eLicense System for all application and renewal requests. First-time users, please use the steps below to register. Registered users, click here.

 

How to create your User Account in Ohio eLicense System

• To create a user account, go to the Ohio eLicense homepage.

  • You must use a newer version of Google Chrome, Safari or Firefox web browsers. Internet Explorer users, must use IE 11 or Edge. The Google Chrome web browser is recommended for best results.

• Click on the  LOGIN/CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT button in the middle of the screen.

New Graduates Seeking RN or LPN Licensure

New graduates must complete an online eLicense application for licensure examination and pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX). 

The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) develops and provides detailed information about NCLEX registration, candidate rules, and results processing. Pearson VUE administers the exam and has several resources available for test takers.
